To mark its 20th anniversary, the Classissimo Festival returns to the Théâtre Royal du Parc from 5 to 11 August 2026 for a festive, inventive edition open to all generations.

Conceived by Marc Grauwels, an internationally renowned flautist and the festival’s artistic director, this programme reflects his commitment to artistic transmission and to fostering encounters between performers from diverse backgrounds.

The festival showcases both emerging talents and established artists through seven evenings featuring a rich blend of major classical repertoire, chamber music, opera, tango, French Baroque music, and the sounds of Spain and Latin America.

From Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to Charles Gounod, and from Johannes Brahms to Astor Piazzolla, not to mention rare instruments such as the cimbalom, glass harmonica and castanets, Classissimo 2026 promises a week of musical discovery where tradition and innovation come together in one of Brussels’ most beautiful theatres.
