Ana Carla Maza

Where Virtuosity, Emotion, and Light Meet

Between Cuba and Chile, between Paris and Havana, Ana Carla Maza weaves a vibrant dialogue between the two Americas, a journey where the cello becomes a drum, a voice, and a soul.

On stage, Ana Carla Maza shines: she sings, plays, dances, and breathes. Her cello is her travel companion, her intimate orchestra. From bossa nova to son cubain, from bolero to bachata, from cumbia to tango — her music celebrates femininity, memory, joy, and hope.

With ALAMAR, her brilliant new and deeply personal album, Ana Carla Maza reinvents the Cuban musical tradition, connecting it with the freedom of jazz, the poetry of chanson, and the sensuality of the Latin American world.

Born in Havana, she grew up between exile and music. At thirty years old, she offers an album of great maturity, a tribute to her grandmother, to the women of the continent, to resilience and beauty. This project echoes Violeta Parra, Beny Moré, Bola de Nieve, and Omara Portuondo — an unbroken line with the great voices of Cuban memory.
