‘It’s all a lie, the baddest bitches ain’t in L.A.’ With the uncompromising attitude that characterises her long-awaited debut album ‘PRIMA’ (due on 4 September 2026), ADÉLA has announced her very first concert in Belgium. ADÉLA, whose real name is Adéla Jergova, grew up in Slovakia and began her career as a professional ballerina at the age of 11. After ten years in the world of ballet, the urge to make music became too strong. She swapped her pointe shoes for a microphone and threw herself wholeheartedly into a musical career. Following her appearance on the musical talent show “Dream Academy”, ADÉLA finally broke through to the wider public in 2024 with the track “Homewrecked”. She quickly built up a dedicated fanbase thanks to singles such as “Machine Girl” (produced by Grimes), “Superscar” and “SexOnTheBeat”. Her EP ‘The Provocateur’ (2025) earned her rave reviews in leading publications such as Vogue, The FADER, NYLON, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan and i-D. Demi Lovato then invited her to be the support act on her North American tour, whilst the young artist played one sold-out show after another on both sides of the Atlantic. In early September, ADÉLA will release her debut album ‘PRIMA’. The title is a nod to the

term ‘prima ballerina’, the star dancer of a company. On this album, she reveals a more vulnerable side of herself. She tackles themes such as insecurities, toxic relationships, love, loss, identity, self-discovery and friendship. With a unique sound that combines the elegance of ballet with powerful synths and personal lyrics, ‘PRIMA’ remains true to her stated ambition: to reach the very top. After turning Pukkelpop on its head this weekend and launching her debut album, ADÉLA will meet her Belgian fans on 25 January at La Madeleine for one of the absolute pop highlights of 2027.
