From Rotterdam to Istanbul, Murda has become one of the most influential voices in Turkish rap. The Turkish-Dutch artist is now transcending borders, cultures and charts. His deep beats are also proving a hit in Belgium: in 2023 he performed to a packed house at Trix, and three years later the rapper is heading to Brussels for an unforgettable show. On Friday 27 November 2026, he will present his brand-new album at La Madeleine in Brussels. Tickets go on sale from Friday 19 June at 10am.
Murda, the stage name of Önder Doğan, began his impressive musical journey more than fifteen years ago on the Dutch hip-hop scene, with classics such as ‘De Turkse Pizza EP’. He soon conquered the Dutch charts with mega-hits such as “Rompe” and “Shutdown”. His real international breakthrough came when he made the move to Turkey. Together with Turkish superstar Ezhel, he released the record-breaking album ‘Made In Turkey’. Their track “AYA” made history as the very first Turkish-language song to pass the 100 million streams mark on Spotify. Not long after, Murda single-handedly dominated the entire top 3 of the Turkish charts with his solo album ‘Doğa’. Meanwhile, his stream count stands at over a billion, and he’s selling out venues across the globe. Thanks to impressive collaborations with heavyweights such as MERO and the Belgian-Turkish artist Hadise, his influence continues to grow.
The upcoming concert in Brussels will therefore not only showcase his vast repertoire of hits, but also look to the future with the launch of his brand-new album. The ‘UZAY TOUR’ stop at La Madeleine on 27 November promises to be an evening full of pure energy and groundbreaking hip-hop. Be ready!
