Razorlight

“America”, “In The Morning”, “Before I Fall To Pieces” – each and every one of these songs stuck in people’s minds the moment they were released. They’re all featured on the album ‘Razorlight’ by the band of the same name, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. To mark this anniversary in style, the British indie rock band is touring the world, with a stop in Belgium on Sunday 1 November 2026 at La Madeleine.

In the early 2000s, Razorlight were at the forefront of the indie rock revival, with an energetic sound full of post-punk influences. Following the success of their debut album ‘Up All Night’ (2004), which reached number three in the UK charts, the band really broke through with ‘Razorlight’ (2006) and the hit “America”. The subsequent singles also dominated British and international radio in 2006 and 2007. And that was just the beginning: three albums in the Top 5, nine platinum awards, an NME Award and strong performances at events including the Reading Festival and Live 8. In 2021, the original line-up – Johnny Borrell (vocals/guitar), Björn Ågren (guitar), Carl Dalemo (bass) and Andy Burrows (drums) – reunited. In 2024, they released ‘Planet Nowhere’, their first album together since 2008. Since their comeback, they have been stringing together sold-out shows, including a gig at the Eventim Apollo in London, and have shared the stage once again with acts such as Muse and the Kaiser Chiefs. Razorlight are back in full force and ready to reinvigorate the indie rock scene, taking fans back to the sound of the 2000s. See you on 1 November at La Madeleine!
