The fascinating French-Cuban duo Ibeyi will make their long-awaited comeback in Brussels on December 14, 2026, with a concert at La Madeleine. Naomi and Lisa-Kaindé Diaz will present their fourth album ‘Offering’ live: a free-spirited, organic, and deeply felt record. The sisters are no strangers to Belgium and always return to our country with great warmth, from Rock Werchter to Pukkelpop and several sold-out venue shows. This time too promises to be an immersive and almost mystical live experience, thanks to their heavenly voices and irresistible energy.
Since their debut, Ibeyi has been building a unique musical universe in which soul, electronica, folk, jazz, and Afro-Cuban influences seamlessly blend. In 2014, the duo broke through internationally with an impressive first album as a tribute to their father Anga Díaz, percussionist for Buena Vista Social Club. With tracks like “River”, “Oya”, and “Stranger/Lover”, the twin sisters quickly conquered a worldwide audience. Their music, which is steeped in Yoruba spirituality, hypnotic percussion, and pure emotion, transcends languages and borders with a rare elegance. With the support of artists like Beyoncé and Orelsan, and praised thanks to their appearances on Tiny Desk and COLORS, Ibeyi has continuously reinvented themselves over the past years. With ‘Offering’, born from a renewed artistic freedom, the sisters return to the essence of their music: intuition, the joy of playing, and absolute freedom. Between enchanting minimalism, analog sounds, and organic rhythms, the Diaz sisters deliver perhaps their most intimate and intense album to date. It has become an invitation to let go, dream away, and completely immerse oneself in their unique atmosphere. To be experienced live in the warm setting of La Madeleine on December 14!
