Sniper, the founding group of French rap, emerged in 1997 in the Val-d’Oise, centered around Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko, and DJ Boudj. They quickly made their mark on the musical landscape with powerful albums such as Du rire aux larmes (2001), Gravé dans la roche (2003), and Trait pour trait (2006), blending commitment, life experience in the housing projects (cités), social criticism, and poetic force.

For 2026, Aketo and Tunisiano announce their return to the stage for a concert tour, under the name Sniper as a duo version. An assumed return to the roots: reviving the classics, proposing new songs, and reaffirming their voice in committed rap. Fans can expect reminders of emblematic tracks, but also the discovery of a more mature universe, free from past tensions, focused on respect, authenticity, and energy.
